We are currently looking to hire a full time compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team! If you are tired of working long shifts, nights, and/or weekends - this is the position for you!  We foster a culture of work-life balance in a collaborative team environment.

 

Our ideal candidate must have an unexpired Indiana Registered Nurse license, previous ICU and/or Pre/Post-Operative experience, exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, be a people person, thrive in a team environment, and have a positive attitude/mindset.  This is a full time, Monday through Friday day shift position with an occasional Saturday morning.  You must be able to travel to all of our offices in Fort Wayne and Warsaw. 

 

This position is accountable for practicing technical nursing skills, administering general anesthesia for patients undergoing surgery, using critical thinking skills, and assisting our Oral Surgeons during surgery.

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

  • Collects, screens, and reviews patient history
  • Answers pre and post-operative questions regarding care and treatment
  • Starts IVs and monitoring patients' vital signs during surgery
  • Monitor patients through recovery
  • Conducts and/or delegates post op patient follow-up calls
  • Oversees and directs the care of the patient
  • Organizes and maintains daily medical treatment and emergency medications
  • Travel between offices in Fort Wayne (primary location) and Warsaw as needed
  • Performs related duties as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Unexpired Indiana RN License (required)
  • 2+ years of RN experience (required)
  • ICU, Pre and Post-Operative experience (preferred)
  • Must be comfortable with electronic medical records processes

Required Education/Certifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s Degree (required), Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • ACLS/PALS certification (preferred)
